Remarks
This species was based on numerous specimens taken from subtidal waters, south of Durban. This is the first record of the species from intertidal waters, also south of Durban. The species is well characterised by its ambulacral restriction of the podia in two rows, the two midventral tentacles reduced to stumps with bifurcating tips, and multilocular, platelike body wall spicules.
