Pachyprotasis chenghanhuai: Taeger et al. 2010: 568 .
Distribution. China (Sichuan) (Fig. 125).
Material examined. Holotype, Sichuan: ♀, Mt. Emei (29°06′N, 103°03′E, 1800 m), 0 7.07.1957, Leyi Zhen, Hanhua Cheng leg.; Paratype, 1 ♀, Mt. Emei (29°06′N, 103°03′E, 1800 m), 0 7.07.1957, Leyi Zhen, Hanhua Cheng leg.
Discussion. This species is similar to P. nitididorsata and may be distinguished as follows ( P. nitididorsata in parentheses): space between punctures on mesepisternum with distinct sculpture, slightly shiny (space between punctures on mesepisternum without sculpture, distinctly shiny); middle serrulae each with 11–12 distal denticles (middle serrulae each with 17–20 distal denticles). It is also similar to P. albicoxis (see discussion of P. albicoxis). Except for the serrulae, no reliable morphological differences between these three species were found.
