Discussion. This species is similar to P. cinctulata and may be distinguished as follows ( P. cinctulata in parentheses): hind femur completely black (basal 1/3 of hind femur white); meso- and metapleuron completely black (hind margins of mesepimeron and hind part of metepimeron white); mesoscutellum with sharp lateral carina (mesoscutellum with blunt lateral carina). It is also similar to P. micromaculata and may be distinguished as follows ( P. micromaculata in parentheses): punctures on mesepisternum rough, their diameter and depth irregular, distance between them also irregular (punctures on mesepisternum not rough, their diameter and depth regular, distances between them also regular); dorsum of thorax completely black (middle mesoscutellum, middle mesoscutellar appendage and metascutellum except lateral margin with distinct white spots); hind coxa and trochanter completely black (outer part of hind coxa with a distinct white spot, hind trochanter completely white); clypeus and labrum completely black (clypeus and labrum white, posterior both with medial black spots). Except for the serrulae and punctures on mesepisternum, reliable morphological differences between these three species were not found.
