Current name: Carum carvi L. ( Apiaceae).

Note: Jafri (in Jafri & El-Gadi, Fl. Libya 117: 93. 1985) indicated 372.1 (LINN) as type but this is a post-1753 addition to the herbarium and not original material for the name.
