Current name: Hedeoma pulegioides (L.) Pers. ( Lamiaceae).
Note: Epling (in J. Bot. 67: 9. 1929) noted Herb. Linn. No. 38.3 (LINN), a Kalm specimen, as standard but this is not equivalent to a type statement (see Jarvis & al. in Taxon 50: 508. 2001).
