Current name: Crepis foetida L. ( Asteraceae).

Note: Babcock (in Univ. Calif. Publ. Bot. 22: 688, 691, pl. 17a, 1947) and Lamond (in Davis, Fl. Turkey 5: 831. 1975) designated Herb. Linn. 955.6 (LINN) as the type, while Jeffrey (in Kew Bull. 18: 462. 1966) did likewise with Herb. Linn. 955.9 (LINN). However, both collections lack the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “13”) and are evidently post-1753 additions to the herbarium, and not original material.
