Current name: Centella glabrata L. ( Apiaceae).

Note: As noted by Burtt (in Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 48: 195. 1991), although the binomial appears first in Pl. Rar. Afr.: 28. 1760, the generic name was not validated until the publication of Gen. Pl. ed. 6 (1763, by association with Sp. Pl., ed. 2), so C. glabrata dates from 1763.
