Current name: Carlina lanata L. ( Asteraceae).

Note: Although Rechinger (Fl. Iranica 139a: 102. 1979) indicated Herb. Linn. 970.3 (LINN) (as “370.3”) as a syntype, the sheet lacks a Species Plantarum number (i.e. “2”) written by Linnaeus and is a post-1753 addition to the collection, and not original material for the name.
