Neotype (Damboldt in Davis, Fl. Turkey 6: 43. 1978): " Campanula orientalis, folio oblongo rigido asper, flore sursum spectante", Herb. Tournefort No. 336 (P-TOURN) .

Current name: Campanula stricta L. ( Campanulaceae).

Note: As there is no original material extant for this name, Damboldt’s treatment of a Tournefort collection as “type” is accepted as a neotypification under Art. 9.8.
