Generitype of Chrysophyllum Linnaeus.

Current name: Chrysophyllum cainito L. ( Sapotaceae).

Note: Although Malik (in Nasir & Ali, Fl. Pakistan 163: 3. 1984) indicated 260.1 (LINN) as type, it is a Patrick Browne specimen not received by Linnaeus until after 1753 and hence not original material for the name.
