Current name: Cladophora glomerata (L.) Kuetz . var. crassior (C. Agardh) C. Hoek ( Cladophoraceae).

Note: Van den Hoek (Revis. Eur. Sp. Cladophora: 179. 1963) designated material in the Dillenius herbarium as the type but as this was not studied by Linnaeus, it cannot be original material.
