Generitype of Cyrilla Linnaeus.

Current name: Cyrilla racemiflora L. ( Cyrillaceae).

Note: Thomas (in Contr. Gray Herb. 186: 5, 77. 1960) indicated that this was based on material from Garden but neither he nor Bornstein (in Howard, Fl. Lesser Antilles 5: 105. 1989) distinguished between 271.1 and 271.2 (LINN).
