Current name: Vesicularia spinosa L. (Bryozoa).

Note: The application of this name has been uncertain. Papenfuss (in J. S. African Bot. 17: 178. 1952) suggested that the name may relate to a member of the Bryozoa, confirmed by the type choice proposed by Spencer-Jones.
