Current name: Calligonum polygonoides L. ( Polygonaceae).

Note: A. number of authors, including Cullen (in Davis, Fl. Turkey 2: 267. 1967) and Bhopal & Chaudhri (in Pakistan Syst. 1(2): 66. 1977) have treated Tournefort material (P-TOURN) as the type but this was not studied by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
