Lectotype (Green in Dassanayake & Fosberg, Revised Handb. Fl. Ceylon 6: 268. 1987): Herb. Hermann 2: 36; 3: 22, No. 14 (BM).

Current name: Chionanthus zeylonicus L. ( Oleaceae).

Note: Green indicated Herb. Hermann material (BM) as type and although there is material in more than one volume, it appears to have been part of a single gathering. Consequently, this is accepted as the first typification (Art. 9.15). See discussion by Reveal & al. (in Huntial 7: 156. 1987).
