Lectotype (Watson in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 55: 211, 560. 2006): Herb. Clifford: 102, Chaerophyllum 6, sheet B (BM-000558348) .

Current name: Chaerophyllum aromaticum L. ( Apiaceae).

Note: Watson (in Jarvis & al. in Taxon 55: 211. 2006) designated Clifford material (BM) as the type but did not distinguish between two sheets (which are evidently not part of a single gathering so Art. 9.15 does not apply). However, this omission was corrected in Taxon 55: 560 (2006), from where the typification dates.
