Generitype of Crassula Linnaeus (vide Hitchcock, Prop. Brit. Bot.: 143. 1929).

Current name: Crassula perfoliata L. var. perfoliata ( Crassulaceae).

Note: Schonland (in Trans. Roy. Soc. S. Africa 17: 224. 1929) treated material in Herb. Sherard (OXF) as the type, as presumably did Tölken (in J. S. African Bot. 38: 71. 1972) (in the Dillenian herbarium). However, this was not studied by Linnaeus and is not original material for the name.
