Current name: Cornus sericea L. ( Cornaceae).
Note: This name was was based on several elements leading Rickett (in Rhodora 36: 272. 1934) to propose its rejection as a nomen ambiguum. However, Fosberg (l.c.) disagreed, using the name in the sense of his designated type material in LINN (and C. stolonifera Michx.). See also Eyde (in Bot. Rev. 54: 255. 1988).
