Current name: Ipomoea biflora (L.) Pers. ( Convolvulaceae).

Note: Merrill (in J. Arnold Arbor. 19: 361. 1938) points out that the exact status of this name (and hence Ipomoea biflora (L.) Pers.) is somewhat doubtful. Although some authors have informally rejected the name, Staples argues for its retention as I. biflora .
