Current name: Genista monspessulana (L.) L.A.S. Johnson ( Fabaceae: Faboideae).

Note: Gibbs & Dingwall wrongly indicated Arduino material (892.2 LINN) as the type (it was not received by Linnaeus until long after 1753). However, in the absence of any original material, this choice is accepted as a neotypification under Art. 9.8.
