Diagnosis. Similar color pattern to L. (L.) indicola, body black except brown (or yellow) elytra; interocular distance wide, 1.50× as wide as eye diameter (male); antennomeres stout (compared with L. (L.) indicola), male terminal antennomere elongate and subequal to combined length of 5 preceding antennomeres; pronotum wider than head.
