Specimens examined. BENTO GONÇALVES: Cabernet Sauvignon, P. tomentosa, V-2007 (1). CANDIOTA: Cabernet Sauvignon, P. lanceolata: VI-2007 (2). BOQUEIRÃO DO LEÃO: Bordo (Ives), P. tomentosa: VII/ 2006 (1).

Two females were measured: dorsal shield 330 (325–335) long and 276 (262–290) wide, j1 22 (20–25), j3 64 (57–70), j4 7 (5–10), J5 6 (5–7), j6 6 (5–7), J5 9 (7–10), z2 29 (27–30), z4 19 (15–22), z5 6 (5–7), Z1 22 (22), Z4 102 (100–105), Z5 90 (82–97), s4 94 (87–100), S2 15 (12–17), S4 7 (7), S5 7 (7), r3 15 (15), R1 7 (7), SgIV 45 (37–52), StiIV 35 (32–37), StIV 69 (57–80), st1-st3 57, st2-st2 74 (72–75), G-G 96 (92–100), ventrianal shield 114 (112–115) anterior wide, 81 (75–87) posterior wide and 107 (105–110) long, spermatheca cervix 19 (17–20), fixed digit 36 (35–36), movable digit 32 (31–32).

Previous records in Brazil. Bahia (Moraes & McMurtry, 1983, Moraes et al., 1983), Maranhão (Moraes et al., 1993), Pernambuco (Moraes et al., 1993), Piauí (Moraes et al., 1993) and São Paulo (Zacarias & Moraes, 2001b). All measurements agree with the original description, except that z2 is shorter and z4 longer (Moraes & McMurtry, 1983). This pecies was found in the culture of strawberry plants in Rio Grande do Sul (Ferla et al., 2007).
