Pref., Gaoligong Shan, side valley, 19 km NW Liuku, 2730 m, 25°59'02"N 98°42'23"E, devastated primary forest, under stones along road, 9–10.VI.2007, D.W. Wrase leg. [28A] (cWR); 1 ♂, with same data but: litter sifted [28A] (cJS). 1 ♂, 1 ♀, with same data but: pass 21 km NW Liuku, 3150 m, 25°58'22"N / 98°41'00"E, bamboo/shrubs, under stones along road, 9.VI.2007, D.W.Wrase leg. [26] (cWR).
Remarks. Chydaeus shunichii was originally described on the basis of one male from “Dakei, alt. 2430–2440 m, Mts. Gaoligongshan, Tengchong Xian, Yunnan, China ” (Ito 2006) and re-described somewhat later by Kataev et al. (2012) on the basis of the series including males and females collected in Lushui County, Yunnan. The additional examined specimens were also collected in Lushui County. They agree in morphological features to other material from Lushui County.
