PUER- TO RICO: Barranquitas, Bayamón, Cayey, Cidra, Coamo, Corozal, Naguabo, San Juan, Vega Alta (Motschulsky 1853; Motschulsky 1854b; Lacordaire 1857; E. Olivier 1910, 1912b; Leng & Mutchler 1914, 1922; Wolcott 1923, 1936; Blackwelder 1945; Wolcott 1948; McDermott 1966; Blackwelder & Arnett 1974; Kazantsev 2007; Kazantsev 2008). REMARKS: Gemminger & de Harold (1869), E. Olivier (1910), and Blackwelder (1945) use Photinus decorus and P. roseicollis . They also consider Photinus decorus as the valid name with P. roseicollis as a synonym. Wolcott (1923, 1936) uses Lucidiota [sic] decorus Gemminger & de Harold. Wolcott (1936) reported this species to be eaten by Anolis evermanni and A. cristatelus ( Reptilia: Dactyloidae). Wolcott (1923, 1936) also reports this species collected on coffee leaves, grapefruit leaves, Solanum torvum, potato, and pomarrosa.
