Genus Anatkina Young, 1986
Type species: Tettigonia vespertinula Breddin, 1903, by original designation.
The genus Anatkina includes about 58 valid species, of these 33 are recorded only from China (Yang et al., 2015). The genus can readily be differentiated from other Cicadellinae by the following combination of characters: head weakly to moderately produced; lateral clypeal sutures reaching crown and usually extending to ocelli; transclypeal suture distinct medially or not; male pygofer usually strongly produced, posterior margin may convex or truncate, with macrosetae on apical half; subgenital plates gradually or abruptly narrowed distally, varying in length as compared to pygofer; style usually without preapical lobe; connective āVā- or āUā-shaped; aedeagus with preatrium usually extending ventrad or posterodorsad, articulating with paraphysis.
