10. Eugenia luschnathiana (O.Berg) Klotsch ex Jackson (1893: 908) [Fig. 2K; Fig 5H]

Endemic to the Atlantic Forest in the Northeast region of Brazil (Sobral et al. 2009, Govaerts et al. 2010) and distributed in the States of Bahia, Ceará (Sobral et al. 2010), Rio Grande do Norte (Silva 2009) and Pernambuco.

Trees and shrubs 2–8 m tall, leaves 5.5–10.5 × 2–4 cm, midvein sulcate on adaxial lamina surface, raceme ending in a vegetative stem, hypanthium and style base pilose, fruit globose or subglobose.
