Ecology. Shelf species, collected at depths between 70 (Peña Cantero 2008) and 135 m (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009). Epibiotic on hydroids (Peña Cantero 2008) and gorgonians (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009). Gonothecae: February (Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009).

Distribution. West Antarctic: only known from off Low Island (Blanco 1977a; Peña Cantero & Vervoort 2009) and the north of Livingston Island, in the South Shetland Islands (Peña Cantero 2008).
