Vernacular Names: Stephens's Kangaroo Rat.

Synonyms: Dipodomys cascus Huey 1962 .

Distribution: Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Cos. of S California (USA).

Conservation: U.S. ESA – Endangered; IUCN – Lower Risk (conservation dependent); California Dept. of Fish and Game – Threatened.
