Caenocrepis Thomson

Dimachus (Caenocrepis) Thomson, 1878: 51; type species: Dimachus (Caenocrepis) arenicola Thomson, 1878, by monotypy. Caenocrepis Thomson: Dalla Torre, 1898: 87 (new status, valid genus); Bouček, 1958: 398 (valid genus).

Diagnosis. Caenocrepis is separated from other genera of Pteromalinae by a deeply incised clypeus, with two more or less developed lobes, in combination with a short marginal vein, usually distinctly shorter than both the stigmal and the postmarginal veins. Other characters include antennal formula 11263, pronotum dorsally rounded, notauli incomplete, fore wings sometimes with brownish spots, and metasoma sessile.
