Distribution. Nearctic, recorded from A/S (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, BC, LB, MB, NB, NF, NS, ON, QC, SK. USA: IA, MO, NH (NSR), NY.

Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured by sifting old river drift, and taken by FIT and pitfall traps Adults found from June to August. In Canada recorded in various coniferous and hardwood forest types; often very common in decaying gilled mushrooms in forest habitats, especially those dominated by hardwoods; also in riparian habitats, and in a meadow with Salix shrubs (Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
