Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NS, ON, QC. USA: MI, NH (NSR), OH, WV.
Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimen was collected in April; lacking habitat data. In Canada found in sugar maple ( Acer saccharum Marsh.) stands, and in white spruce ( Picea glauca (Moench) Voss) forests with a hardwood component. Adults taken under bark of Salix sp., under bark of a 2–3 week-old fallen tree, under bark of wind-fallen large-tooth aspen ( Populus grandidentat a Michx.), and on rotting fungus and tree stumps with a cut surface (Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
