Distribution. Palearctic, adventive in North America. Canada: BC, NB, NS, ON, YT. USA: NH (NSR), NJ, RI.

Collection and Habitat data. Two NH females were captured in meadow sod in October. In Canada recorded from an old-growth northern hardwood forest, mixed forests (NB), and a Sphagnum bog (ON) (Brunke et al. 2012, Webster et al. 2016). Adults were found in a muskrat nest, among sticks, debris and mud on a beaver dam, and in leaf litter on clay near a small brook. One was captured in a Lindgren funnel trap in an old-growth hardwood forest (Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
