Distribution. Holarctic, recorded from A/S (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, MB, NB, NF, NT, ON, QC, SK. USA: AK, NH (NSR).

Collection and Habitat data. In NH found in moss on rocks in a stream in an old-growth deciduous/coniferous forest in June, and taken by UV light trap in an old-growth silver maple flood plain forest in August. In Canada found mostly in riparian habitats, often collected by splashing riparian areas: river margins in drift material (mostly maple seeds) and flood debris, river margin on clay sand mix on steep bank (splashing), collected by splashing moss near splash zone of waterfalls, splashing gravel along small shaded brook, treading reeds in a marsh next to river; also, collected from wet ground in a bog; also found in a rotten fungus, and taken by a UV light trap (Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
