Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: LB, NB, NF, QC. USA: NH, NY, VT.
Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were found at the base of a waterfall in May and July. In Canada found in riparian habitats: often in moss near water falls near splash zone, on rocks in fast flowing streams, on rocks in middle of rivers and brooks (adults in moss and in cracks in rocks), and from a gravel bar on a river margin (Webster et al. 2012). Some were collected from moss and gravel along edges of forest streams and shallow pools at an elevation of 1100m in shrubby barrens (Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
