Collection and Habitat data. In NH sifted from old wrack and taken by a FIT. Captured in May and September. In Canada collected from Malaise pan traps in upland (sand ridge forest,) and semi-forest habitats (oak savanna) on sandy soil, by Lindgren funnel traps in a rich Appalachian hardwood forest, from an old jack pine stand, a trembling aspen ( Populus tremuloides Michx.) stand, a red spruce forest with red maple and balsam fir, and a red pine ( Pinus resinosa Ait.) forest. Specimens with microhabitat data were sifted from Sphagnum and grasses near a vernal pond in a red maple swamp, and from Sphagnum and litter in depressions with Carex in a calcareous fen (Brunke et al. 2012, Webster et al. 2016).
