Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NB. USA: AR, MS, NH (NSR), PA, VT.
Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were collected from May to October in old river drift, litter by stream, wet grass litter, and forest litter. Taken mainly by sifting at an old-growth silver maple floodplain forest, with one specimen caught by a flight intercept trap. Elsewhere found on salt marsh side of barrier beaches in the intertidal zone at 1–2 m below the mean hightide mark; under small rocks set in sand or a sand-clay mix in areas with sparse Spartina patens (Ait.) Muhl. (salt-meadow grass); one specimen from the clay margin (with sparse salt grass) of an inland salt spring; specimen collected by splashing clay bank (Gusarov 2002d, Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
