Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: ON, QC. USA: AR, DC, FL, IL, MD, NC, NH (NSR), NJ, NY, VA, WV.

Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were captured by flight intercept traps in a protected kettle bog from July to August, with one record from December. Elsewhere found in hardwood forests, in carrion (squirrel), human feces, leaf litter, and rotting mushrooms (Génier 1989, Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
