Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NB, NF, NS, ON, QC. USA: IA, IN, ME (NSR), MS, OH, PA, TX.

Collection and Habitat data. One specimen each was captured in a UV trap and a flight intercept trap in ME near the NH border in August and October. In Canada adults were captured in Lindgren funnel traps in old red oak, red pine, black spruce, eastern white cedar, and mixed forests (Webster et al. 2012). Elsewhere adults were captured in Lindgren funnel traps and four-winged intercept traps in an old-growth red spruce ( Picea rubens Sarg.) forest, and a yellow birch ( Betula alleghaniensis Britt.)/balsam fir forest (Klimaszewski et al. 2018).

Comments. Newly recorded from ME. No records yet from NH where it certainly must occur.
