Redescription of female. Externally similar to male. Tergite VIII transverse, apical margin arcuate, antecostsal suture strongly sinuate medially (Fig. 10f); sternite VIII transverse, apical margin arcuate, antecostsal suture slightly sinuate (Fig. 10g); spermatheca with globose capsule and narrow stem (Fig. 10h). Previously published image of female spermatheca is an error (Klimaszewski et al. 2003, 2018).
Distribution. Nearctic. Canada:AB, NB. USA (NCR): NH (NSR).
Collection and Habitat data. The NH specimens were captured from May to September in litter by a stream and by flight intercept traps. Most specimens were taken at sites close to the NH border with Quebec. In Canada (NB) taken by Lindgren funnel traps in an old red pine forest, an old-growth white spruce and balsam fir forest, and with an aerial (butterfly) net during the evening in a mixed forest opening (Webster et al. 2012). In AB adults were collected by various kinds of traps in a 130+ year-old boreal forest comprised mainly of trembling aspen, birch, and eastern balsam poplar, in an 85-year-old boreal mixed-wood stand comprised mainly of trembling aspen and eastern balsam poplar, and in a 70-year-old boreal mixed-wood stand comprised mainly of trembling aspen and Salix (Klimaszewski et al. 2018) .
