Distribution. Holarctic, recorded from A/S (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). Canada: AB, BC, LB, NB, NF, NS, ON, SK, YT. USA: AK, NH (NSR).
Collection and Habitat data. In NH captured in May and September/October in an old-growth boreal forest and 40-year-old boreal forest near the border with Quebec. Collected by flight intercept traps and sifted from birch and alder leaf litters. In AK found in a mesic Betula, Picea forest and near a creek (Klimaszewski et al. 2021). In Canada found in moist leaves (often on muddy soils) near margins of vernal ponds or small brooks in alder swamps, mixed forests, northern hardwood forests, a coniferous forest, and a wet willow stand; also in drift material on a lakeshore, in moist leaves under a sap flow of yellow birch, and taken by treading vegetation in a seasonally flooded marsh on a pond margin; in AB found in a Douglas fir and lodgepole pine stand with aspen and birch understory (Webster et al. 2009, Klimaszewski et al. 2021).
