Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: NB, NS, ON, SK. USA: IN, MA, ME (NSR), NH (NSR), NY, RI.

Collection and Habitat data. Specimens in NH were captured by a flight intercept and pitfall traps, by sifting grass and leaf litter by a stream, by sifting oak, beech and huckleberry litter and other leaf litters along bog margins, and by processing grass sod with a Berlese. Collected from January–March and from May to October — probably active through the year. In NB recorded in moist leaves along margins of vernal ponds and snow-melt pools in various forest types as well as from leaf litter near a seepage and brook leaf litter and moss, from a Carex hummock in a Carex marsh, and in a gilled mushroom (Webster et al. 2016, Klimaszewski et al. 2018), and in ON specimens were also found in vernal pool litter (several sites), forest litter, tree hole litter, litter in a bog, and wet moss on rocks at the margin of a spring (Brunke et al. 2012).
