Distribution. Nearctic. Canada: ON, QC. USA: AZ, CA, IA, ID, NH (NSR), NY, OR, PA, TN.

Collection and Habitat data. Captured in July in NH from maple litter along a stream in an old-growth floodplain forest. Elsewhere found in open habitats, agricultural fields, soybean fields, woodland edges, and oak savanna. One specimen was collected from giant puffball fungi (Brunke et al. 2012, Klimaszewski et al. 2018).
