Solierella verhoeffi de Beaumont, 1964
(Figs 19–20)
Solierella verhoeffi de Beaumont, 1964:63, ♀, ♂. Holotype: ♂, Cyprus: Yermasoyia Hills (Lausanne).
Remark. The species was previously mentioned for the fauna of Iran by Sadeghi et al. (2018) with two females. One of the specimens in question was examined and is the above described S. farsica sp. nov. The other specimen could not be examined, but most probably also refers to that species. For that reason, the here mentioned record of S. verhoeffi is the first confirmed record from Iran.
Geographic distribution: Mediterranean area, Turkey, Iran (based on material, examined by CSE). New to the fauna of Iran.
Distribution in Iran: Tehran province in northern Iran.
Records: 1 ♀, 11.viii.1965 Elburz [= Alborz], Pulour 22 km N of Abd Ali [= Abali] (CAS) .
