Solierella bactriana Gussakovskij, 1930
Solierella bactriana Gussakovskij, 1930:234 . Holotype ♀: Uzbekistan: Kumak (St. Petersburg).
Remark. The species was not examined, and the description does not allow us to place it in the key. It is possible that one of the new described species in this paper refers to S. bactriana, especially S. kermania sp. nov. or S. khafriensis sp. nov. However, the probability is low because the description (see below) does not agree exactly with one of the examined species, and S. bactriana is recorded from the north of Iran only, and here the new species are described from the south. So, this risk can be accepted and it is not otherwise possible to process the Solierella species in Iran.
Recognition. Kazenas (1978) placed S. bactriana in his key of species from Kazakhstan in a linage of species with finely sculptured propdeal dorsum, and a densely and finely punctate mesonotum. The propodeum is laterally densely and distinctly striate and the species measures 3.5 mm. This comes close to S. kermania sp. nov. but the latter has distinctly scattered mesonotal punctation. Also, S. kermania sp. nov. is somewhat larger.
Distribution. Russia, Central Asia, Iran.
Distribution in Iran: Semnan province in northern Iran (Gussakovskij 1935).
