Genus Angaeus Thorell, 1881

Comments.

This genus includes 11 species, mainly distributed in tropical Asia (India, Malaysia (Borneo), Myanmar, Vietnam, Singapore, and Indonesia) (WSC 2022). More than half of these species are recorded from China and have been revised by Benjamin (2013). It is worth mentioning that the female of the type species, Angaeus pudicus Thorell, 1881, remains unknown.
