Sasajiscymnus flavostictus Tong & Wang sp. nov.

Diagnosis. This is a distinctive species of Chinese Sasajiscymnus by the entire dorsum deeply black with only two small, yellow spots on the elytra (Fig. 49a).
Description. TL: 1.35–1.62 mm, TW: 0.99–1.26 mm, TH: 0.52–0.66 mm.
Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 49a–c). Head black with antennae and mouthparts yellow, with interocular distance distinctly closer than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum black with anterior margin narrowly yellowish brown. Scutellar shield black. Elytra black with brown apices, and each elytron with a yellow spot on medially but not touching suture. Ventral surfaces black. Legs yellow to yellowish brown. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, not recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 49d).
Male genitalia: Penis slender, penis capsule with long inner arm but without outer one, apex of penis pointed (Fig. 49e). Penis guide long and slender in lateral view, approximately parallel sided for basal 3/4, then gradually narrowing to pointed apex; parameres about 1/3 as long as penis guide, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide widest at base in ventral view, tapering towards blunt apex (Figs 49f–g).
Female genitalia: Coxites shortened; styli absent; spermatheca worm-like, with basal ramus and nodulus.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).
Etymology. The specific epithet flavostictus derives from the Latin words “flavus” (= yellow) and “stictus” (= spot), refers to its two yellow spots on the elytra.
