Sasajiscymnus sylvaticus species group

The Sasajiscymnus sylvaticus species group is characterized by the long and slender penis with short outer arm, apex of penis simple without appendage, penis guide sometimes bifurcated apically, interocular distance greater than eye width in frontal view, abdominal postcoxal lines recurved toward the base of ventrite, and triangular coxites usually elongate.

12 species of sylvaticus group are recorded from China, including 5 new species.
