Sasajiscymnus gibbosus (Yu, 1997)

Pseudoscymnus gibbosus Yu, 1997: 720 (type locality: Wang’erbao, Wanzhou, Chongqing, China).— Pang et al. 2004: 87; Kovář 2007: 582.

Body oval, moderately convex, surfaces covered with short pubescence (Figs 13a–c). Head yellow with interocular distance distinctly greater than eye width in frontal view. Pronotum yellow. Scutellar shield yellowish brown. Elytra black with yellowish brown apices and humeral angles. Ventral surfaces yellowish brown to black. Legs yellowish brown. Abdominal postcoxal lines incomplete, slightly recurved toward the base of ventrite (Fig. 13d).
Male genitalia: Penis stout, penis capsule with stout outer arm and long inner one, apex of penis with membranous appendage (Fig. 13e). Penis guide widest at base in lateral view, apically pointed; parameres inconspicuous, with a tuft of long setae at apex; penis guide approximately parallel sided for basal 3/ 4 in ventral view, then sharply narrowing to pointed apex (Figs 13f–g).
