Cotesia ancilla (Nixon, 1974)

Distribution in Iran. Isfahan (Ghahari et al. 2011c), Kermanshah (Ghahari and Fischer 2012a).

Distribution outside Iran. Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, former Czechoslovakia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Macedonia, Mongolia, Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, former Yugoslavia (Yu et al. 2012).

Host record. Gregarious parasitoid of Colias chrysotheme, C. hyale, C. palaeno (Nixon 1974; Yu et al. 2012). In Turkey, this species has been reared from Zygaena viciae (Güçlü and Özbek 2011) . Yu et al. (2012) reported it from Colias croceus, C. myrmidone, C. sareptensis, Euchloe (Elphinstonia) charlonia .
