TELIOCRINUS SPRINGERI LILIACEUS (CLARK, 1909B)
Synonym: Hypalocrinus liliaceus Clark, 1909b: 150; Teliocrinus asper Döderlein, 1912: 22 (pars.); Comastrocrinus liliaceus, Clark, 1912: 257; Teliocrinus monarthrus Clark, 1928: 365 .
Diagnosis: Subspecies of T. springeri with smooth arms at least beyond their proximalmost part, arm syzygies with a regular radial crenularium, usually more than 11 (62%) internodals per noditaxis, relatively thick internodals (H / D> 0.40, up to 0.79 in juveniles), and cirri that are usually shorter than in the other subspecies.
Locus typicus: Off the coast of Burma, 17°07′30″N, 94°05′30″E; depth 767 m.
Occurrence:? Adaman Islands,?north-west Australia, south-west Bay of Bengal, and south Sumatra; depth range? 366–847 m.
